Hi Simon. I don't have a Mac, so I've no idea how to find out the version of Safari, but perhaps look in the 'help' menu, there may be an item called 'about Safari' or similar.

It wouldn't be the 2cv club if you couldn't come up with hard ways to do simple things, now that wouldn't do at all would it  1) Open Safari......2) Click on the word Safari in top left corner next to the apple icon......3) Drop down menu appears and at the top of that it will say "About Safari" click on that and a window will open telling you which version you are running.

Hi Chris Cleared the key chain, cleared the cache, cleared history etc etc , yep still getting the same message works fine on the firefox

What exactly is causing problems? I am posting this from my Mac G5 using Safari 4.0. You could try updating your version of Safari from 3.2.3 to 4.0
