Where does the battery go?

We have got engines in the cars now.  We will be adding in green filters and new exhaust pipes.



I notice in your pictures, the battery has gone off somewhere.  Is it in the back of the car?

Nope, think majority of batteries are still in the engine bay, just vastly reduced in size in comparison to a standard car battery!

as you look at the car from the front,the battery is on the right hand side bulkhead.

Most 2cv racer use motorbike batteries which are smaller and remove the original tray and mount straight to the bulkhead, we however still fit the original 063/007 type, (never fails to restart when you spin!), cheers Richard
