Given the demise of the Mondello 24 hour race various folks over here have gotten together to try and keep 2CV racing alive over here. Ultimately it would be great to have an Irish championship but we have to walk before we run......

Anyhew, we have landed 4 races in Kirkistown next year. As we can only identify 6 Irish cars at the moment we won't get our own race but will run with the Metros that race in Kirkistown. (Speed differential isn't huge and their numbers are fairly low too.)

Kirkistown is similar in many ways to Snetterton with a couple of long straights and bendy bits at either ends of those straights. (Therefore could be good preparation for Snett 2004)

Proposed dates are April 5th, May 3rd, August 30th and September 27th.

Suitable hillclimbs are also being looked at for additional events.

The question is, would anyone be interested in coming over for any of the rounds to join us in the racing?
