Title: Pembrey Safety Car Driver Required
Post by: Trevor Williams on September 17, 2007, 16:05:29
I have been asked by Dale Wells to see if we can provide a safety car driver for our two-hour race at Pembrey on 20th October 2007.

If anyone is not entering the race, but looking to join in with the end of season festivities in the bar afterwards, could you please contact me asap.

You will need to have a current National B race licence and bring your race overalls and a crash helmet that meets the current regulations

BARC will provide the car

Cheers

Trevor

I'd be willing if no one else has stepped forward :)

Never done it before, but willing to try ;) I have raced at Pembrey before in a 2CV, in case that makes any difference.

Cheers Chris, I will keep you posted. I am pretty sure the pace car won't be a 2CV! If it's one of the BARC VXR vauxhalls, they are great!

I will email Dale at the start of next week and copy you in on the note to find out exact requirements

How good would it be though if we had a 2cv pace car?
