Title: Drilling for a seal
Post by: Paul on March 25, 2019, 09:31:57
I notice in the board technical minutes that Steve Walford is going to bring drilled studs to the first meeting,i would like to point out these do not comply with the rule as written in the regulations which states Nuts and Bolts must be drilled and makes no mention of studs at all.
If you require drilled nuts use Rocker cover nuts for M7 and head nuts for M8, they are tall enough that the wire will pass through them without the stud getting in the way.

Might be best to turn a flat on the face of the rocker cover nuts first. Means less depth though.
