Title: Pie n Mash
Post by: Nick Roads on May 21, 2019, 18:03:19
The club meal promotion for Sunday is closed, we used the mailchimp system to send out the tickets today. If you have not had yours then email me and I will sort a ticket out.

We asked what year those taking up the offer when they first heard of the Club. 1996 and 2006 were barren years but seem to have someone form all the other years!

BIG DATA from Pie'n'Mash

= we have 9 people coming who first heard about the 2CV Racing from 1989 coming and then pretty much 1 or 2 people who first heard of the club each year until 2005 then  3-5 for every year after 2006

It looks to me that with Club social media activity and other activities, we are getting our message out there better than ever before. For the record, I first read about it in a Sunday magazine feature with pics of the cars at Lydden Hill, (sill possibly the best circuit for us) around 22 years ago at a guess. Then I came across Jem Marsh, did Mondello with his team and the rest, as they say is history. Andy Doel was a mechanic there and is still with us. Dickie Dawes is still around, but not so well after his accident.
