Title: Outboard Front Brakes
Post by: subarupete on August 22, 2020, 20:17:55
Hi All,
Has anybody got some good HD photos of Outboard front brakes on a 2cv?
Have an Citroen LN box, a GS Box with no lugs for callipers, so maybe go outboard.

Hi Peter,
Pretty certain I could find some pics but think there may be some better ones with other people.
It is now done on Belgian spec cars and been successfull as far as I'm aware.
I have front arms ready to put together that have the swivel hub with the 2 holes that took the old damper. Think it was called a battered. But there are 2 holes to use and we have welded a plate in betwee to beef it up.
Think it then uses a Picasso disc, but don't take that as gospel.
Then Will wood callipers. I know that bit is correct because I have those in my drawer. If you want to give me a bell I can put you in touch with someone else who has done this and is more informed. Give me a call on 97768441094.
Cheers Wayne
