Title: 30th Anniversary
Post by: Paul on August 24, 2020, 09:46:12
As it's the 30th running of the race i thought there would have been some recognition of this momentous occasion.

On this Anniversary can Uncle Roy repeat his victory of 30 years ago back in Mother, which is still in ECAS livery?

I reckon he stands a chance.

Hi, Paul:

The commentators will be briefed on the 30th anniversary of the 24 Hour and the roving mike in the pit lane will no doubt be very happy to talk to you about it.

Also, Patrick Mason will not be there to present the Graham Harper Trophy and Roy has kindly agreed to stand in for him and present the trophy.

Martin

It's not the same car that won 30 years ago (that was my No13), Glenn's is Richard Dalton's first racer which I'm fairly sure did some Mondellos and would undoubtedly have been successful. We're hoping for good things....... Mind Clarkson won't be there to interview and comment on my words at the finish - "and here, with all the eloquence of Nigel Mansell but without the whingeing........."
