2008 24 hour race is go

The Stingray 2CV 24 hour race is now looking for entries.
The event will be held at Snetterton Circuit on August 8/9/10th.
We have managed to keep the price as before at £1720. The price includes access to garage on the Thursday evening at about 6pm and testing on the Friday 8th August. Testing will compromise of 4 x 30 minute sessions split by about one hour. This allows two drivers to drive for 6/7 laps and then any changes can be made between the sessions. On the Saturday 9th August we will have a free untimed practise of 20/30 minutes around lunchtime. The race itself will start at 6pm Saturday and finish 6pm Sunday. Qualifying is to on Friday evening with a light session approximately 8pm - 9.30pm followed by a night session run 10pm -11pm. All drivers must qualify in both sessions. Signing on and scrutineering will be before 7.45pm. You need to be cleared by the scrutineers before you can go out on track.
After the race at 6.45pm awards will be presented at the Snetterton podium with 1st down to 6th to receive awards. Following this outside Tyrells a mass BBQ type thing to cater for all that remain. All welcome with further details to follow.
Please remember that this a championship race and  you have to be a member of the 2CV Racing club and BARC.
All entries received before 31st May will go into a draw. This year there are two prizes. Free Fuel for the race,  and free testing and garage for the meeting.
