Refuelling in the 24 Hour Race

it actually depends on the wording as to whether they are fully compliant, the devil is in the detail.

if we get to use the Tuff Jug, does that mean we would take it to the pump to fill or would we still use the jerry can then fill the jug?

Don't worry about the detail, it won't be until 2011 that we may use it.
However, its unlikely that decanting petrol in the pits is acceptable.

So jerry cans are OK for this year are they?

Yes, exactly the same as previous years.

For interest, there's an "Alternative 6 hour" race, the week before the 24hr, and also held at Snetterton. Their notes on refuelling suggest that jerry cans are prohibited. I'm guessing this is specific regs for their series though.

I note that they have a maximum grid of 47 cars. It will be interesting to see how many they actually get.
