Our racing will be on BBC Top Gear

Some may know that BBC Top Gear staged a mock race for 2CV's at Croix back in July. Around 9 of our cars were involved. It will be shown as part of a programme feature celebrating 70 years of the 2CV.

Our mole at the Beeb has advised today that the transmission dates are still not set, but it should be in February / March.

If and when we get more accurate date info, we'll post it here.

Yes it looks like 'our' segment should be shown next Sunday, the 18th of March.

Look forward to it, hopefully it will be a nice / fair feature.

Quite a nice feature - I just don't like Matt LeBlanc as a presenter on the show, but guess others do, just spoils it for me.

Nice short video clip here :  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p061jbgl
But ... at 00:40, we see that Matt Leblanc, actor, deliberately overturns the egg's basket to his left, while the pilot turns the wheel to his right !

For the entire episode... it's not accessible to non-British people :-/   "BBC iPlayer only works in the UK. Sorry, it's due to rights issues"

Maybe I don't have a sense of humor but didn't think they needed to spill the eggs (am sure its been done before) it wasn't funny and just a bit predictable from MLB.

Overall thought it was pretty good though.

Top Gear. Well done to the team of people that went to France to take part. You take your life in your hands when you allow journalists to represent their version of what you are or do.
The programme presented the unique design of the car and it's capability's obviously with TV hype. The star of the show had to come out best that's the way of the luvvie life at least it was Mat Leblanc it could have been the Doncaster chap who was kicked out for stupid behaviour his stock in trade was to pan anything under 50 grand.
All in all it turned out well good exposure even to the hard of understanding.
