Citroen 2CV Race Car.

This is a fully rebuilt Citroen 2CV Race Car.  There is an excellent racing club for these cars.

It is well known to the club and last raced in the 2014 24 hour race and has been completely refurbished over the past few years.

It is a great opportunity for someone or a team to go racing at a very affordable cost. This car has been completely rebuilt and never used as the Team who bought it got distracted into other things.

Classic 2 CV Racing Club Race Car Log Number 1064. Chassis plate attached to the inside of the car.

The car was stripped back to its component parts and the chassis blasted and painted.

The body was repainted Ferrari Giallo yellow and a new fixed aluminium roof fitted.The wings are all quick release.

It has a Safety Devices Roll Cage, Sparco racing seat with harness and a Momo quick release steering wheel.

New windscreen and rubber, new perspex windows all round.

New custom wiring loom with fuses and relays, custom switch panel, custom instrument panel with new instruments.

Powervamp battery, cut off switch, fixed race timing transponder. Engine breather tank.

The engine is built for 2CV club racing with authorised club parts: twin choke webers, race cams, electronic ignition and side exit exhaust. Spare engine is the same. The engine has been stripped and checked, vapour blasted, new gaskets fitted, new oil filler, and fitted with restoved fan housings.

Full length undertray, reinforced Belgian front suspension arms with stiffeners, reinforced rear arms with tie bars.

Negative camber and lowered suspension.

All new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, pads, rebuilt calipers, brake pipes.

New fuel pump, quick fill tank filler.

Rebuilt driveshafts with new gaiters.

New front and rear AVO adjustable shock absorbers.

New king pins, track rod ends, suspension arm bearings and wheel bearings.

The car is 95% complete, just needs suspension and brakes setting up, fire extinguisher fitting and spanner checking.

File of paperwork to include receipts, workshop manual, racing details.

Spares Include a full set of wheels, one gearbox, one dismantled gearbox, one dismantled engine to club spec, bonnet, 3 doors, 2 front wings, 2 rear wings, spoiler, fuel tank, alternator and other assorted parts.

A bargain for a team of 4 to enter the 24 Hour Race at Snetterton on August 17th/18th and 19th.
