I've been getting a few calls lately about numbers and how to register for the championship so here goes...

The main driver for each car must be a racing member of BARC and a racing member of the 2CV racing club.  Guest drivers must also join the 2CV Racing club but can be as either a day member or a racing member.  I am not sure what the current situation is with BARC membership for guest drivers - maybe Trevor could clarify please?

1. get racing licence from MSA (minimum of race national B)
2. Join BARC as a racing member.
3. Request regs pack from BARC (a few people have asked me for this but you do need to go direct to BARC to sort this out - not only does it contain the 2006 regs, but a championship registration form)
4. Join 2CV Racing Club
5. Return Championship registration form to BARC - here's where some confusion has arrisen:-  There is a space on the form to request a race number.  You do not have to complete this in order to register.  I e-mail to BARC a list of race numbers allocated and they will not register you for the championship unless you are on my list.
5. Recieve from BARC pack of race entry forms and your championship registration card.
6. fill out approprate race entry forms
7. Recieve from me your club bumph and membership cards.
8. bring to race meeting your licence, BARC racing membership card, BARC championship registration card, 2CV Racing club racing membership card.  Oh, and don't forget your car ;-)

If by some stroke of misfortune your BARC championship registration number is different to your 2CV racing membership number then let me know as soon as possible so that I can sort it out.

for info, here is the latest list of members:-

Hi Christine, the cheque is in the post (poor suffering bank account) so 32's taken too, I assume...
