Karl,
you'll find Simon Pearson in Warsall
his business is called The Two Pot Shop, he been racing for 13 or 14 years. look him up in the phone book or there may be some contact details on the website under specailists. He may be able to help you out when he's not counting his money. If you can find it let me know and i'll get you the details.

Thanks for that mate. Trevor W. as also sent me this contact.

Great stuff! Will contact soon.

Car is now painted shell, but were starting to hang the bits back on!

Its a bit different to what i am use to but its good fun and an interesting
challenge. The charity bit is coming on good and we already raised a few
grand in sponsors for the charities.

Seen something about a Rally raid in a 2CV?

Anyone you know had a go at this ?

there has been a few recently. there is a twin engined 2cv that has done the Dakar a couple of times but not been very reliable. Suspension arms broke this year i think. There is also a 2cv doing this years Paris-Peking rally owned by a guy called Simon Chance. He has done loads of stuff with this car and been very sucessful.I also built a car for the 1997 Paris-Peking, a 1300cc one that didn't do too badly but came back quite badly damaged, it cost close to 25k 10 years ago but it was a tool.
glad to hear you're getting on OK, some of us haven't started yet....
